I purchased my Roadster at the beginning of August 2025 and promptly joined the Markham Stouffville Cruisers. I’m happy to be apart of a group of like-minded folks that have made me feel welcomed.
I’ve always been fond of the style and design of my Crossfire Roadster. Particularly the Mercedes AMG drivetrain and its rarity with only 2,816, 6 speeds produced in black in 2005, with a total of 4,200 on all trim levels produced in 2005.
While my car has not won any awards yet (it needs some TLC to get itself into the running), anytime that we take it out we do get plenty of likes and it’s a door opener to conversation which provides us with much joy.
I’ve always felt that if you walk away from your car and turn back to admire it from afar, then it is providing you with joy. Since life is very short, joy and happiness is so very important.
I have not done any modifications yet, but I have hopes of completing an engine swap to a M113 (supercharged Mercedes AMG V-8). Otherwise, I am hopeful to acquire another special interest car in the near future (that’s a secret to be revealed at a later date).
Lastly, thank you all for welcoming me into the club.
